BIOGRAPHY BEATRIZ PALOMERO
Beatriz Palomero
1971 (Chantada (Lugo))
Graduate in Fine Arts by Salamanca University.
Awarded the Erasmus Grant in to study at the Academie Royale in Liège (Belgium), where she attended various courses in intaglio etching, silkscreen, lithography, and carborundum.

She has also taken part in several shared exhibitions and participated in the annual Estampa Contemporary Printmaking Fair since 2005. Her works have also been selected to be included in several festivals and biennial exhibitions.

2007: Grant awarded by the CIEC Foundation, Betanzos, La Coruña (Spain).
Printmaking Prize awarded by Casa Falconieri, Sardinia (Italy).
Second Prize at the VIII San Lorenzo del Escorial Printmaking Prize, Madrid.
2006: First Pize, Graphic Art Contest for Young Artists. Calcografía Nacional, Madrid (Spain)
Grant awarded by the Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation, Mallorca (Spain).
1996: Second Prize for Painting, Cinema and Art Week, Salamanca (Spain)
Painting Grant awarded by Salamanca University
Her Works are exhibited at institutions such as Fundación CIEC, Calcografía Nacional, Fundación Pilar i Jon Miró, Fundación Casa de la Moneda,Casa Falconieri, Fundación CEIM, and San Lorenzo del Escorial City Hall.
