Susana Murias
1961 (Madrid)

Susana Murias Millán was born in Madrid in December 1961.
Education and academic activities
She is Graduate in Fine Arts at Universidad Complutense of Madrid since 1985.
Since 1987 she is Teacher of Art and Design in Escuela de Arte 10 of Madrid where she teaches Graphic Design and Engraving Techniques.
Between 1993 and 2009 she has attended different training courses in etching and engraving, screen printing, and lithography in prestigious schools and institutions.
Awards and Honors
1997. Finalist in II Contemporary Engraving Award of Dirección General de la Mujer from Comunidad de Madrid 1997. Second Prize of “Brita Prinz Gallery Workshop” 1997.
1999. Honour Mention in “Graphic Art Award for Young Creators”
2000. Honour Mention in II Engraving Award of Deutsche Stiftung 2000. Selected in Engraving Award “Lucio Muñoz Villa de Madrid”. Second Prize of “Brita Prinz Gallery Workshop” 2000.
