"NESTS" - María Verdugo Althöfer

The common theme of this exhibit is the nest as a metaphor representing the home. Home as a place that we make our very own, and that could be anywhere. Nest that are hands, nests that are hearts. Homes represented as birdhouses that we fill with whatever we are , and with things that reflect our selves. Homes that we personalize or camouflage in the environment. Birds as indicators of flux, of the comings and goings of a population,of migration that leads us to make nests in the most unheard of places.
